It has been awhile since I wrote about the SE702. Well, today my new blackberry arrived, with the help of my coworker. Bold is the 2nd GSM blackberry that supports 3G, and works in Japan. It is a huge improvement over the 8707g, released back in mid August 2006. Support of UTMS 3G was then little known among users. Not only does Bold supports HDSPA but it is also equipped GPS, wifi and a javascript enabled browser. A much faster processor. A beautiful screen. A slim body. The best keyboard ever in blackberry. All in all it makes serving the net, watching media and playing with Google Map a pleasure from it predecessor. Easily can switch from/to wifi and it logons instantly with the 3G network (Japan). Though there were some glitches I saw in this gmm build: no street view and not loading map tiles in Wifi-only mode, I believe they will get fixed soon. Bold is one highly anticipated device. Definitely worth the wait! Tempted making it my primary device... next will check out SE X1.
